This type of ‘small-scale’ system, designed to overcome barriers created by infrastructures and mountains in coastal areas and valleys, integrates the public transport system providing connections to facilities, stations and town centres and responds to the quest for mobility in contexts requiring low hourly capacities and low running and maintenance costs.

Agudio inclined lifts adopt technology derived from funicular railways and reach the highest levels of reliability in addition to complying with the requirements of standards for lifts and elevators.

Operation is entirely automatic and controlled either from the platforms or from inside the cab by the passengers. No personnel is needed for running the system.
